It all started back in the early 70's in a quiet Texas suburb. Everyone knew little Scotty was a bit different- always doodling and sketching away at some unexplainable cartoons on his book covers, the school bathroom wall, on the other students' arms and hands.
It would come as no surprise to that elementary school principal how he turned out.
Skip forward about 15 years- after getting an art degree in graphic design from the university of north Texas, and a short stint in eastern Europe, he has an unlikely meeting in Austin, Texas with an old school tattooer, named Ed Potter, who takes Scott under his wing and shows him his way around the tattoo machine.
After a year or so, Scott answered the call of the motherland, and would spend the next 5 years tattooing in Europe, 4 of those at his own shop in Prague, Czech Republic.
Now days, you can find him at True Blue Tattoo in Austin, Texas, tattooing everything from butterflies to back pieces. But Legend has it that when the moon is full, and the wind is blowing from the east, you can still hear him mumbling to himself in Czech.
